The DataBay Resources staff brings added value to clients through key relationships with physician recruitment, human resources, strategy, planning, marketing and advertising professionals. DataBay Resources Team Richard Stein – Vice President Rich provides overall leadership and direction to the DataBay Resources division, specifically focusing on new business opportunities. Rich comes to DataBay from Amerinet, where he has served as director of sales for the New York/Long Island region since 1997. Prior to that, Rich has held a number of high profile positions in the healthcare field including assistant administrator/chief operating officer for Brunswick Hospital Center, Amityville, NY; associate administrator, materials management for The Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY; and director of group purchasing for Greater New York Hospital Association Services. Rich’s wealth of experience in the healthcare field as well as his strong analytical skills and expertise in budgeting, forecasting and planning provide a strong foundation for his responsibilities with DataBay Resources.Product Development Steve Sekely - Product Manager Steve assists in new product development and enhancements to existing products, conducts research involving product enhancements and new products, provides recommendations for purchasing or designing new technology and develops training materials for each product. He is also responsible for performing all quality assurance testing as it relates to new products, enhancements or problem resolution. Steve started with DataBay Resources as a product marketing specialist. His position prior to joining DataBay was with General Data Corporation, where he was responsible for direct sales, recruiting, training, market analysis, customer relations and development. Throughout his career, Steve has had success in being able to match customers with products that fit their needs. Mary Ann Augustine - Data Administration Analyst Mary Ann converts state data for use in DataBay Resources products, evaluating, verifying and ensuring the quality of processed data. She works closely with IS, application support and sales personnel to deliver timely production and distribution of customer data installs and supporting files. Mary Ann has more than 15 years of health care experience collaborating with senior management in strategic planning and medical staff development strategies. She is certified in technical training at Robert Morris University, Community College of Allegheny County and the University of Pittsburgh. Application Support Sue Flaherty - Application Support Associate Sue provides application support for all DataBay Resources software products. She provides technical assistance to help users resolve software issues and provides both on-site and telephone-based user training. Sue also provides reporting and data analyses to support client analysis initiatives. Sue comes to DataBay resources from the Hospital Council of Western Pennsylvania (HCWP), where she served as a career development specialist in HCWP’s Center for Health Careers. Included in Sue’s responsibilities at HCWP were the coordination of career fairs for Pennsylvania high school students, publication of a semi-annual newsletter that served as a resource for healthcare career awareness and the research and tracking of workforce data and trends in healthcare. Sue also served in an advisory capacity of a number of organizations while at HCWP. Carol Young - Application Support Associate Carol is responsible for the support of Decision RX software, AccuSave and DataBay software products. Carol comes to DataBay from Amerinet, where she has served as market research manager and coordinator, Acute Care Services since 2003. Carol brings 16 plus years of healthcare experience and three years of application support to DataBay. Her previous positions include: customer service manager, Kemma Software; manager, credentialing and provider relations, Health Systems Alliance; administrative assistant, Passavant Physician Hospital Organization; and administrative assistant, Aetna Health Plans of Western PA. Business and Market Research Diane Esswein - Business Director Diane oversees the business functions for DataBay Resources including contracting, financial and research-related activities. She manages the customer contract renewal process and billing for all DataBay Resources products and services. Diane works with the vice president of DataBay Resources and external legal consultants to negotiate new contracts, to revise current contracts and to obtain the necessary copyrights and trademarks for DataBay Resources software products and services. Diane provides direction in the departmental budgeting process and generates sales and market share reports on an ad-hoc basis. She also oversees the competitive research, market research and environmental scanning processes and is responsible for the customer relationship management system. Diane graduated with a BS in Consumer Services and a minor equivalent in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and has held positions in the healthcare and retail fields prior to her employment with DataBay Resources. Sales and Marketing William Cain - Director of Sales Bill is responsible for new sales of DataBay’s software products and services as well as retention of DataBay’s current client facilities that are located primarily in the New England and Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware territories. Prior to joining the Amerinet team, Bill has held sales and operational positions in a number of high profile healthcare organizations, including McKesson Drug Company, Allied Healthcare Products and Medline Industries. Ananda Billings - Director of Sales Ananda is responsible for new sales and customer retention for accounts in the Midwest region of the United States. Ananda has held a number of sales positions within the healthcare field prior to her employment with DataBay, including her most recent stint as Territory Manager for Horiba ABX, a company that designs, develops and distributes automated medical analyzers to facilities worldwide. Prior to her employment with Horiba, Ananda was Territory Manager for Diagnostic Products Corporation, and then for Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics when they purchased Diagnostic Products in March 2007. She was also an Account Executive for Abbott Laboratories. Steven Dunn - Manager of Telesales Steve is responsible for generating new sales in the Western United States, primarily for the Navigate ProfitPoint and Navigate-MD product lines. Prior to joining DataBay Resources, Steve worked with the Konica Minolta Medical Imaging Corporation in sales both as a Territory and Regional Manager for over 22 years. |
